Thanks for Visiting our Old Country Home

Williamson House, Ore City, Texas
The Williamson House was built in 1910 for John Wesley Williamson and his wife, Lula Caroline (Armstrong) Williamson. We moved it in 1989 to its present location

This is the way it looked just after we moved it, and before we started renovation.

Our front porch is a favorite spot, especially in the Spring and Fall. Our old fashioned swing at the corner encourages relaxed conversation or contemplation.

We enjoy having friends at any time, but every Fourth of July we invite more than a dozen couples to celebrate with us. Most of these are ministers and wives with whom we served on the Bishop's Cabinet of the Texas Annual Conference.
